  • Child Anxiety Lab

The Child Anxiety Lab is dedicated to improving the well-being of children and families whose lives have been affected by excessive fear and anxiety by conducting clinically-relevant research and providing psychological services grounded in science.

The Child Anxiety Lab also strives to become the premier, research-based anxiety disorders specialty clinic serving our region and to provide outstanding training experiences for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral students with clinical and research interests in childhood anxiety disorders.

Members of the Child Anxiety Lab conduct experimental research on several factors associated with the development of anxiety disorders in children, including children's temperament, personality characteristics, ways of thinking, and family relationships. We are also investigating the role that parental information processing factors may play in the development of these disorders.
