      Training dates have yet to be determined.  Please check back soon for additional details regarding training registration.

      Internet-based Disaster Preparedness/Anti-Terrorism training for UMMC Personnel (participation is currently unavailable).
    • Mississippi Homeland Security
      There are various tabletop exercises and seminars scheduled through the Mississippi Homeland Security office that are offered with numerous organizations, including the Health Department, MEMA, State Fire Academy, etc. This link will provide you with the name of the event as well as the person to contact for enrollment in the classes.
    • Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP)
      ODP is the primary office responsible for providing training, funds for the purchase of equipment, support for the planning and execution of exercises, technical assistance and other support to assist states and local jurisdictions to prevent, plan for and respond to acts of terrorism. If you are interested in any of the courses offered at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL - 1) Please complete the registration form (link provided); 2) Submit the completed form along with a statement of approval from your supervisor, to jwilson5@umc.edu or fax (601) 984-4504.       FEMA provides many programs, courses and materials to support emergency preparedness and response for emergency personnel as well as the general public.
