Mixed Use Center Development
Request for Proposal 1173A
UMMC desires to enter into an agreement with a third party to own, finance, construct, operate, and manage a mixed use center with meeting capabilities on campus located in Jackson, Mississippi. The Mixed Use Center development project is proposed to be a multi-level, mixed use structure that will be a combination of housing, offices, and retail, and provide sufficient opportunities to the UMMC campus and surrounding community.
The selection of a developer for this project is a two step process. Request for Qualifications # 1173 was issued in June 2012. As the first step in the selection process, qualified developers were chosen in August 2012 after review of the responses to the RFQ. No further qualifications will be made. The second step in the selection process will be via a Request for Proposal. Only those qualified developers from RFQ 1173 will receive a copy of the RFP. One developer will be awarded the project after review of the responses to the RFP.
