Health and Wellness Center Development
Request for Proposal 1175A
UMMC desires to enter into an agreement with a third party to own, finance, construct, operate, and manage a health and wellness center with amenities customarily associated with high quality health and wellness centers that include fitness/rehabilitation center, office, and retail spaces. The Health and Wellness Center development project is proposed to be a multi-level, mixed use structure that will provide sufficient opportunities to the UMMC campus and surrounding community.
The selection of a developer for this project is a two step process. Request for Qualifications # 1175 was issued in June 2012. As the first step in the selection process, qualified developers were chosen in August 2012 after review of the responses to the RFQ. No further qualifications will be made. The second step in the selection process will be via a Request for Proposal. Only those qualified developers from RFQ 1175 will receive a copy of the RFP. One developer will be awarded the project after review of the responses to the RFP.
